Challenge:
The accounts team in the company faced the tedious and time-consuming task of sending bulk emails with attachments to clients on a routine basis. The process involved creating a new email draft for each recipient, attaching documents, and sending the email. This repetitive process was done using Microsoft Outlook and consumed valuable time. The company was seeking an automated solution to reduce workload and streamline the process for their employees.
Solution:
To simplify the process of sending bulk emails, Veelead Solutions has developed an RPA (Robotic Process Automation) using Microsoft Power Automate. With this new technology, the accounts team simply needs to define the required emails and their corresponding attachments in an Excel spreadsheet. Our Power Automate flow automatically sends emails to multiple recipients with the respective attachments specified in the Excel spreadsheet.
The use of RPA has enabled the company to fully automate the process of sending bulk emails. Now, employees only need to enter the necessary information in the Excel sheet, such as recipient’s email address, name, and the message body, and the Power Automate RPA takes care of the rest. The flow reads the information from the spreadsheet, uses the email draft from Excel, attaches the required documents, and sends the email to the intended recipient.
Result:
The implementation of RPA technology has resulted in several benefits for the company. Firstly, it has eliminated the need for manual intervention in the bulk emailing process, resulting in increased productivity and reduced workload for employees.
